I am Šana Kulić, a freelance visual artist, living and working in Belgrade, Serbia. After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, with a Master degree in 2010, I was developing my own artistic style through different techniques, drawing and painting, but all based on bright and vivid colours. I like using intensive colours for their energy and the effect they have on our emotions. Here you will find series of my visual research, mostly inspired by Matisse and Kandinsky. Some of my work is totally abstract and some is with a glimpse of natural objects, mostly flowers, leaves and branches. My mission is to create simple but bold paintings and also to represent colourful and optimistic side of art. Hope you'll enjoy it. I also had 5 solo and over 80 group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad and won an award for printmaking. During my studies I received a scholarship from the Fund for Young talents, powered by Republic Ministry of Youth and sport, Serbia.
