This is the series of my abstract oil on canvas paintings. I was interested in making  totally abstract, balanced compositions using geometrical elements. Those elements are actually leftovers I had from my previous still life collage collection I did a few years ago. I came up with the idea that I could use them and make completely new pieces. My job was to organize the elements, keeping mind of the shapes and colour combinations. This was the first time that I was interested in pure estetics and that I wasn't attached to specific subject and nature. Simple shapes, spontaneously cut, received new life and role, and “mistakes” from the cutting gave the composition dynamic and freshness.
